Responsibilities include:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers Provide companionship and support during daily activities Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other necessary outings Assist with active and passive mobility exercises according to the client's plan of care Observe and document changes in the client's condition and communicate them to the Director of Nursing Provide care in accordance with the client's individualized plan of care Maintain client privacy and confidentiality What We're Looking For Valid Florida HHA license in good standing High school diploma or GED Valid CPR certification Physical and negative TB skin test within the past 12 months Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle Ability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle background check Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply Ability to safely stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with varying mobility needs Make a Difference Every Day At BrightStar Care, you're more than an employee — you're an important part of the care team.
