Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of personalized care. This is a Sunday , 1099 job that has t shifts : One shift starts from 9 am to 1 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track health status accurately Administer medications and perform catheter care following medical instructions and HIPAA privacy standards Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral management Support patients during hospice or end-of-life care with compassion and sensitivity while maintaining medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household chores to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Document medical records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Skills Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status or behavior promptly Reliability. (Must be on time) Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with long-term care experience Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to caregiving tasks and patient care procedures Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges effectively and compassionately Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and hospice or dementia-specific training preferred Join us if you're passionate about providing exceptional home health care!
