Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption, accommodating dietary needs related to dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or other health conditions. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, memory care, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, and intellectual disabilities support. Hands-on experience with patient observation, vital signs measurement, medication administration, CPR/First Aid certification, and manual handling techniques like Hoyer lifts. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals while demonstrating patience and compassion.
