Apply here on Employ Florida Infinite Developmental Services is seeking dependable and caring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities through APD services. Staff will assist consumers in their home and community while promoting independence, safety, dignity, and personal choice. Position Responsibilities The Caregiver / Direct Support Professional will: Provide direct care and supervision to APD consumers. Assist with daily living skills, personal care, hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal support as needed. Support consumers with community outings, appointments, shopping, recreational activities, and life skills development. Encourage independence, choice-making, and participation in daily routines. Monitor the consumers safety, health, and well-being during the shift. Follow the consumers support plan and provider instructions. Document services provided, activities completed, progress, concerns, and any incidents. Maintain professional boundaries and respect consumer rights, privacy, and dignity. Communicate concerns or changes in the consumers condition to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment. Requirements Applicants must be able to: Pass a Level 2 background screening . Complete required APD/Train Florida trainings. Have reliable transportation. Be dependable, patient, and professional. Follow written and verbal instructions. Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Work respectfully with consumers, families, coworkers, and supervisors. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience in home health, caregiving, personal support, respite, or life skills services. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or must be completed if required. Schedule Hours may vary based on consumer needs. Positions may range from 15 to 40 hours per week , depending on availability and assignments.
Pay Starting pay:
$15.00 per hour Pay may vary depending on experience, assignment, and company policy. Employer is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
