Home Health Aide

Job Brief Current job caring for a senior couple in Pensacola working 12 hours shifts. We are looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers that are dependable and flexible. Caregivers are the select few who have the opportunity to renew and ensure dignity for the clients we serve. Our caregivers assist our clients in their activities of daily living to allow them to remain safely in their own homes while living their most complete and fulfilling lives.

Schedules:

Multiple shift options, including 12 hour day shifts. Job Responsibilities The responsibilities of a Caregiver may include, but are not limited to the following: Above all else support and advocate for the dignity and well-being of the clients we serve and the people with whom we serve Planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements of the client. Wash dishes and clean kitchen. Maintaining a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, and doing laundry. Providing companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments. Grocery shopping or other errands when needed. Performing other housekeeping tasks as indicated in the care plan. Participating in in-service education programs. Remind clients of medication regimens as appropriate without directly administering medications or other healthcare related activities Help with bathing Bathroom assistance Grooming Mobility Exercise Med reminders Experience and Qualifications A passion for serving others with dignity, positivity and respect Successfully complete all Safely Home provided caregiver training Unencumbered driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs; standing, bending and sitting for extended durations Basic homemaking skills including cooking, light cleaning, etc. Ability to pass a background check and drug test Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have CPR certification, CNA level preferred but not necessary.
