Responsibilities Provide individualized support according to each client's Support Plan and Implementation Plan. Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, budgeting, grocery shopping, and home organization. Provide transportation to medical appointments, employment, educational programs, recreational activities, and community outings. Support clients with medication reminders (when permitted by agency policy). Encourage independence, self-determination, and community integration. Assist clients in developing communication, social, vocational, and life skills. Maintain accurate electronic documentation, service notes, and timesheets. Report incidents, health concerns, or behavioral changes promptly. Follow all APD regulations, HIPAA requirements, and company policies. Maintain professional communication with families, guardians, supervisors, and Support Coordinators. Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times. Skills & Experience:

Years of experience: 1+ to 2 years Minimum education: High school degree

Detailed Skills & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Florida Driver's License. Reliable vehicle with current automobile insurance. Eligible to pass a Level II Background Screening. Authorized to work in the United States. Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for electronic documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Experience in Supported Living, Personal Supports, Home Health, Behavioral Health, or Human Services. CPR/First Aid Certification. Medication Administration training (preferred but not required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Physical Requirements Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds when necessary. Stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist individuals throughout the shift. Safely transport clients using your personal vehicle when required.
