Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where your compassionate nature and hands-on skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes or community settings, promoting independence, safety, and comfort. Your energetic and proactive approach will help foster a positive environment for those in need of assistance with daily activities. This paid position offers an opportunity to grow your caregiving expertise while making a genuine impact on the well-being of others. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' conditions, recording vital signs and noting any changes or concerns to ensure optimal care Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe, clean living environment Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through tailored approaches such as memory care techniques and hospice support when applicable Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed effectively Requirements Proven experience in home health care Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), first aid, and any state-specific caregiving licenses preferred Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized attention like catheter care or hospice support Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Flexibility to work live-in shifts or community-based assignments as needed We are committed to empowering our caregivers with the tools they need to succeed.
