The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, including walking or using mobility aids. Support memory care activities for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times. Maintain a safe environment by following proper safety protocols, including CPR training when necessary. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with senior care practices, patient observation techniques, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential for maintaining client confidentiality. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate empathy and patience in all interactions.
