Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health status Administer medications and manage medical documentation in compliance with home healthcare regulations Support patients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, hospice care, and memory care Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient interactions and medical records Provide companionship and emotional support Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care safely and effectively Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home healthcare environments Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems and medical terminology Knowledge of infection control practices such as HIPAA compliance, first aid, basic life support (BLS), and CPR certification Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Valid certification in home health aide training or equivalent; additional certifications in hospice or end-of-life care are a plus Active HHA or CNA certificate (preferred) Level 2 Background Screening (Clearinghouse) Valid driver's license & reliable transportation CPR certification (preferred) TB test or health statement Strong communication and reliability What We Offer Weekly pay Flexible scheduling Supportive work environment Respectful leadership Opportunities for additional training Meaningful work that makes a difference Apply today and become part of a growing agency that truly values YOU!
