WEEKEND LIVE-IN
Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, where your dedication and caregiving skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support in their homes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and high-quality care to clients across diverse settings. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will assist with daily activities, monitor health status, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive environment that fosters well-being and dignity for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration in accordance with healthcare plans Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care safely while maintaining patient comfort Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are followed effectively Engage in patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior that require escalation or reporting Support clients in community settings or assisted living facilities, providing consistent and compassionate care tailored to individual needs Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or in long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation practices Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems efficiently for accurate record keeping Skilled in assisting with ADLs and providing personal care with empathy and professionalism Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) are required; additional certifications like hospice care or dementia training are a plus Familiarity with medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and blood pressure cuffs Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially following HIPAA guidelines Experience in home & community care environments is highly valued for this role Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving.
