We specialize in a wide range of services including skilled nursing, physical therapy, and non-skilled home health aide care, ensuring exceptional healthcare delivery to our diverse community. Summary As a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant at Health Care of South Florida, you will provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. This role is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services, focusing on enhancing the well-being and comfort of our patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Monitor client health by observing changes in condition and reporting to nursing staff. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information. Administer CPR when necessary and follow emergency protocols. Support clients in maintaining their independence through encouragement and assistance. Document care provided and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Qualifications Experience as a Home Health Aide Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications are a plus. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and families. Basic cooking skills for meal preparation are beneficial. Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Pay:
