Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various medical settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.
Duties:
  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
  • Willingness to work in various medical settings including inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and emergency departments
  • Need to have reliable transportation and auto insurance
