Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals with disabilities or illnesses in their homes or in a group home setting. AbrRBCg/viewform Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
  • Perform patient monitoring and assist with medication administration as needed.
  • Assist clients with ADLs (activities of daily living) such as toileting, mobility, and feeding.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and transferring clients as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and clean living environment by maintaining a clean and organized space.
  • Work in a group home setting or provide care in the client's home community.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or illnesses.
  • Strong patient care skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed.
  • Knowledge of vital signs and patient monitoring.
  • Ability to work effectively in a home care or group home setting.
  • Experience with ADLs and patient care.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
  • Comfortable working with people who have disabilities or illnesses.
  • A strong commitment to working with people who need assistance with daily activities.
