"Must have transportation" We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with kindness, patience, and professionalism. Your efforts will ensure that clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to maintain their independence while receiving the necessary support to thrive in a caring environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive caregiving and compassionate service. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, reporting any concerns promptly Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and coordinate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or hospice care preferred Strong understanding of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids confidently Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs is highly valued Attention to detail in medication administration, care planning, and documentation ensures high-quality patient support Join us in providing compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
