Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Caregiver/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care and support to residents in our assisted living community. The ideal candidate will assist seniors with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Help residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Assist with feeding and monitoring dietary needs. Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to supervisors. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and organization of residents' living areas. Escort residents to activities, meals, and events. Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members when appropriate. Follow all safety, infection control, and resident rights policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous caregiving, personal care, or senior care experience preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification but not required. Ability to work with elderly individuals in a respectful and compassionate manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
