Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Personal Care Assistant in a private home care setting, where your compassion and expertise will make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals with diverse needs, promoting independence, safety, and comfort. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each client receives exceptional care tailored to their unique circumstances. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients in a supportive environment, fostering trust and enhancing quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' conditions, noting changes in health status and reporting findings accurately Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to update patient information securely and efficiently Operate assistive devices like wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding when necessary, and maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning Requirements Experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and patient documentation standards Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and first aid are required; Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or memory care needs Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent patient observation skills and adhering to HIPAA privacy standards Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Flexibility for scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends Access to reliable transportation Join us if you're passionate about providing compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably. Up to $15.00 per hour
