Metro Atlanta (North Fulton, Cherokee, Cobb, Gwinnett & surrounding areas)
Position Type:
Contract (1099) Our Mission At His Wings Home Care Services, we believe every client deserves compassionate, respectful, and dependable care that allows them to remain safe and comfortable in their own home. We are seeking caring individuals who share our commitment to excellence, dignity, and integrity. Position Summary The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides non-skilled, in-home assistance to elderly and disabled clients while promoting independence, safety, comfort, and quality of life. Responsibilities Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene Assist with toileting and incontinence care Help clients safely transfer and ambulate Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Provide companionship and emotional support Escort clients to appointments and community outings when assigned Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration) Observe and promptly report changes in client condition Maintain accurate visit documentation Follow client care plans and agency policies Protect client confidentiality and privacy
Qualifications Required:
Minimum age of 18 High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Current automobile insurance Smartphone for electronic documentation and communication Ability to pass a criminal background check Negative TB screening Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Excellent communication skills Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
Preferred:
