This energetic and rewarding position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, home care environments, group homes, and nursing homes. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support medication administration and help implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to promote healthy living Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques to prevent injury during mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a caring and respectful atmosphere Qualifications Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory-related conditions is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards diverse populations Embark on a fulfilling career dedicated to making a positive impact on lives through attentive caregiving.
