Job Description
Are you patient, creative, and have a passion to transform the lives of Adults with Disabilities? Do you believe that every individual has a very unique light that deserves to shine? We are looking for instructors who think outside the box, embrace neurodiversity, and turn challenges into triumphs. Under general supervision, provides direct training of basic personal skills, social skills, and simple work skills to adult consumers with developmental disabilities in a day center setting. Uses observational skills to be aware of consumer behavior and physical conditions. Will take consumers out into the community and may need to drive them in company vehicles. Completes daily, monthly, and bi-monthly reports / documentation. Basic computer skills required. HS Diploma or GED and one (1) year experience providing social or direct care services to special needs persons required. Moderate lifting may also be required. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record along with valid vehicle insurance. Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
