If so, Child Serve Respite has a job for you! As a Respite Assistant, you will provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in our clients home and out in the community. Schedule Flexible hours! Most shifts occur after 4pm Monday - Friday or on the weekends. How You'll Make an Impact Have fun with kids while their regular caregivers get a break Be creative while engaging children in activities Provide 1:1 care in the child's home or in the community Receive ongoing training and supervision Great resume builder for those interested in social work, education, therapy, psychology, and nursing
What You'll Need :
Must be at least 16 years old to apply Those 18 and over must be willing to provide transportation as a ChildServe authorized driver, if required. This includes passing a motor vehicle record check and car safety check and able to provide a valid driver's license and insurance Ability to lift up-to 35 lbs. be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language Not sure if you hit 100% of the position expectations?
