Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Optimae LifeServices, Inc. in Muscatine is looking for a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) . The Direct Support Professional provides assistance to people living in the community as they move to achieve personal goals of their own choice. This position supports individuals in the expansion of their abilities, empowering them to choose and be successful in valued roles within their living, learning, working, and social environments. The Direct Support Professional does this by offering a variety of individual and team supports. The position encourages community participation to promote community inclusion of people we serve.

Qualifications:

Be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with persons with mental illness is preferred. Experience helping with personal care is preferred. Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance. Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check.
