About the Role As a Direct Support Provider (DSP) , you'll play a key role in supporting individuals to achieve independence and actively engage in their communities. From assisting with daily routines to encouraging new experiences, your work will have a direct and lasting impact. We offer f ull-time and part-time opportunities: Available hours Full-time hours are 7a-3:30p Part-time hours are 10a-2p What You'll Do Provide respectful, person-centered support in clients' homes Assist with daily living activities based on individual needs and goals Encourage social interaction and community participation Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, families, and team members Promote health, safety, and well-being through attentive care Who You Are At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Physically able to assist with lifting up to 75 lbs (with support as needed) A responsible driver with a valid license, reliable vehicle, and insurance Willing to complete background and abuse record checks Compassionate, patient, and motivated to support others in reaching their potential What We Offer When you join North Star, you become part of a team driven by purpose and respect.
