Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plan instructions Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manage manual handling tasks safely Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal consumption to meet individual dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Document care activities, update care plans, and communicate effectively with team members about resident progress Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings as needed Requirements Med Certified; Self-Administering with Medications Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and geriatrics is advantageous Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional training in medication administration or hospice care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks in compliance with safety standards Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality of patient information Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is desirable Join us in providing compassionate support that empowers individuals to live fulfilling lives.
