HCA **Health Care Assisant**

We have an opening for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Nursing team! We care for disabled adults within our Reshab here in Idaho Falls.

Requirements include:

Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant by the State of Idaho Experience working with adults with disabilities or another residential habilitation, not required but a HUGE plus Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality Current Idaho driver's license As a Health Care Assistant, you will: Schedule & attend medical appointments. Keep all medical information up to date including chart notes, medication changes, physician orders, medical administration records, etc. Perform medication cart checks weekly & delivery of necessary supplies as needed. Obtain vitals, weights, heights and input/out on the participants. Alternate with an on-call schedule shared among the other HCAs. Set up & provide direct care personnel with needed training. Coordinate with home health agencies, PT, OT, etc. to provide in home services for the participants. Provide valuable input into the participant's care and treatment.
