Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our homecare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various homecare settings. This role involves providing essential patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. The Medical Technician will work closely with patients, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and Alzheimer's care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Support patients with memory care needs, including those requiring hospice or acute care services. Engage with patients to promote their emotional well-being and provide companionship. Qualifications Previous experience in homecare or assisted livings Reliable transportation and the ability to transport others Experience in senior care, hospice care, dementia care, or memory care is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients. Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
