Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Support Assistant to support two working professionals on a part-time basis, working between 10 to 12 hours per week on a flexible schedule. The goal of this position is to assist this family with routine and one-off domestic tasks; providing reliable, compassionate, and efficient domestic support. As a Domestic Support Assistant, you will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, ensuring that clients' needs are met with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Assist with daily household tasks such as cleaning, tidying, laundry, and meal preparation to promote a comfortable living environment. Maintain landscaping and lawn care for the home. Complete laundry and other routine housekeeping tasks Support clients with personal care activities in accordance with their individual care plans Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors regarding client needs and any concerns that arise Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Document support activities accurately and report any significant changes or issues promptly Contribute to creating an inclusive, respectful atmosphere that promotes independence and dignity for all clients Qualifications Previous experience in domestic support, caregiving, or related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients Excellent communication skills to effectively understand and respond to client needs Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a flexible manner Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to domestic support roles Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to assist others in maintaining their independence and quality of life This rewarding role offers the chance to contribute positively to individuals' daily routines while developing valuable skills in a supportive environment.
