Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Non-Medical Home Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes and community settings. In this role, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensure their safety, and promote independence through personalized care. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, fostering a warm and trusting environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor patient well-being by observing physical and emotional states, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring such as vital signs and patient observation Maintain a clean, safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry Use appropriate techniques like Hoyer lifts or resident transfers to ensure safe mobility and prevent injury Follow care plans meticulously while respecting client preferences, privacy, and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Experience Prior experience in home & community care or assisted living environments is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, Alzheimer's disease or memory care needs is advantageous Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, CPR and First Aid certification are desirable Familiarity with long-term care settings such as nursing homes or hospice care enhances your ability to provide comprehensive support Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with disabilities or special needs Previous experience using care plans, medication administration protocols, or social work principles is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary for resident transfers or mobility assistance Join us in delivering compassionate home care that truly makes a difference!
