Developmental Services Center (DSC) provides comprehensive services across the lifespan-from birth through adulthood-including family development, case management, employment, residential, respite, and community day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford Counties. RESPONSIBILITIES
As a CDS DSP at DSC, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through recreational activities, social events, educational groups, volunteering, and other areas of interest to enhance personal fulfillment and make greater connections with their community. Additionally, you will develop and lead small groups based on the interests of program participants in the areas of recreation, education, and art as well as facilitate the development of hobbies and interests.
REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Fundamental computer skills, including general web browsing and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Sufficient physical stamina and mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling. Valid driver's license and ability to drive DSC van. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and HHA (Home Health Aides) are encouraged to apply.
HOURS:
40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (includes a working lunch); No evenings, weekends or holidays!

$17.00 per hour Grant-funded retention bonuses up to 2 payments for a maximum of $1,600 per fiscal year!
