Overview:
This job is in Peoria,IL Monday through Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
POSITION SUMMARY
: The Team Assistant provides non-clinical support to regional team members in their delivery of care to patients, across all Care Services. The Team Assistant is responsible for managing agency referrals and helping to ensure all necessary information is available prior to the patient visit, manages work queues and performs other non-clinical, pre-coding activities. Updates the EMR and coordinates access to care (i.e. initial visits, ongoing visits and others, as directed). The Assistant is also responsible for monitoring reports and providing timely communication to support regional leadership and employees in the field.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma/ GED Experience:
One year in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
Licensure/ Certification:
N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
N/A Experience:
Three years in an office clerical setting or customer service environment. Direct experience in medical setting.
Licensure/ Certification:
N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge:
