Homefront Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide essential support to individuals who require personal care and assistance in their own homes. As a HHA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by providing personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their overall happiness and comfort. Responsibilities 1)Personal Care :
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting their dignity, privacy, and personal preferences. 2)Medication Reminders :
Remind clients to take his/her medication at the appropriate time. 3)Mobility Assistance :
Provide physical assistance and support to clients with mobility challenges, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids such as walkers or wheelchairs. 4)Companionship :
Engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and hobbies to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being. 5)Meal Preparation :
Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions, preferences, and client requirements, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet. 6)Light Housekeeping :
Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. 7)Transportation :
Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, grocery shopping, and other activities as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation. 8)Communication :
Maintain open and effective communication with office staff to provide updates on the client's condition, progress, and any concerns as well as any scheduling issues or emergencies. 9)Record-Keeping & Electronic Visit Verification :
Document and maintain accurate records of client care, including daily activities, assigned tasks, any client requests, and any significant observations or changes in the client's condition. 10)Safety and Emergency Preparedness :
Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of clients. 11)Respect and Professionalism :
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with clients, their families, office staff, and other healthcare professionals. Show up to scheduled shifts on time and with a positive attitude.Note :

Requirements:
Must hold a current Home Health Aide (HHA) license in Indiana and be in good standing. Previous experience as a Home Health Aide in a related healthcare field is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures is a plus. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
