Job Details Overview:

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and supporting their overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying health needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Personal Care :

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

Mobility Assistance :

Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety while moving around their homes.

Meal Preparation :

Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.

Medication Reminders :

Remind clients to take prescribed medications and monitor their adherence to medication schedules.

Household Tasks :

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Companionship :

Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.

Monitoring Health :

Observe and report changes in clients' physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family members.

Documentation :

Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, changes in condition, and any incidents. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid. Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a focus on client-centered care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
