Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as mobility, hygiene, and nutrition to promote comfort and independence. Support patient transfer methods using manual handling techniques and medical equipment operation to ensure safety during movement within the facility. Maintain strict patient confidentiality while managing medical documentation and communicating effectively with caregivers and medical staff. Implement infection control protocols and uphold care facility standards to prevent the spread of infections. Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients, especially geriatric or pediatric populations, fostering trust and reassurance. Assist with emergency response procedures such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), ensuring readiness for acute situations. Qualifications Certification in Cpr first aid will train if needed Strong communication skills for effective caregiver interaction and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Ability to perform manual handling safely while maintaining patient safety standards during transfers or mobility assistance.
