For over 50 years, OCCK, Inc. has partnered with children and adults with disabilities across North Central Kansas to remove barriers, support independence, and create opportunities to fully participate in their communities.
What You'll Actually Do:
Help people with everyday activities like cooking meals, shopping, cleaning, and organizing their home Support transportation to appointments, work, or community activities Encourage independence by helping people learn and practice new skills Provide personal care when needed (training provided) Spend time building positive relationships and supporting personal goals Some days might include helping someone prepare dinner together. Other days could mean attending a community event, helping someone get ready for work, or celebrating a milestone they've worked hard to reach.
