- creating connections, supporting sensory needs, maintaining a structured environment, building trusting relationships, coaching and supporting people through times of escalation or aggressive behaviors, personal care and hygiene assistance, mentoring & teaching, going on community inclusion outings & activities.

Behavior Trainer Specialist :
Strong listening, communication, and relationship building skills Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disabilities, neurodiverse challenges, mental health disabilities, other medical complexities, and/or co-occurring diagnosis. Experience with verbal de-escalation strategies, setting boundaries, and working with individuals who exhibit aggressive behaviors is beneficial. High school diploma or accredited GED.
