Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a nursing home environment. This role requires a strong commitment to resident rights, patient monitoring, and the ability to follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel. Medications Reminders as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication schedules. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards. Support clients in social activities and community engagement, promoting independence and quality of life. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans. Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy in all interactions. Experience Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Skills in cooking nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions are desirable. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and medication administration protocols is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are required. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to those in need while promoting their independence and dignity.

$13.05 - $15.00 per hour
