Job Description

PAY RATE
$15.72 Hourly (Pay is negotiable based on experience) Are you ready to make an impact to those in need in Appalachia? Summary:
Provides home visits, transports or occasional In-home respites for individuals who may be developmentally, physically and/or mentally challenged. Hours of service depend on the needs of the participant. Provides support for the coordinator, including assistance with Elderly Home Repair paperwork as time allows.
Essential Job Functions:
Prioritize participants needs to provide home visits, transports or occasional In-home respites as scheduled. 45% Provides personalized care for participants enrolled in Elderly Services. 30% Submits completed paperwork and assists with the planning & preparation of program special events. Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent General Studies Required 18 Months Additional Training in
Related Field Required Years of Experience :
1 or more years of successful experience in related field or combination of education and experience
Certifications and Licensure:
Possess a Valid Kentucky Driver's License and Maintain a Safe Driving Record Required CAP Driving Certification• (or ability to obtain within first 90 days) Required In order to drive personal vehicle on CAP business, must obtain and maintain a policy of motor vehicle insurance coverage on privately-owned vehicle with insurance coverage amounts of $50,000 bodily injury per person per accident; $100,000 bodily injury for all bodily injuries per accident; and $50,000 property damage per accident.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, stand, walk Lift 50 lb and carry 20 ft Push cart with 10 lb of force 30 ft Lifts/moves items with unknown weight or that are awkward shapes and sizes with assistance Have good visual acuity with corrective lenses Have good hearing capabilities
