Job Description

We are currently seeking self motivated, dependable, and compassionate individuals to join our team! As a DSP you will work side by side supporting the participants and teaching them new skills to better learn to support themselves. A career as a DSP is rewarding when seeing your participants excel in the community and at home.

Qualifications:

Previous DSP/SCL (Supports for Community Living) experience is required. College of Direct Supports (CDS) trainings are required. Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or G.E.D., or 21 years of age. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record. CPR/First Aid certified. Ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Responsibilities:

Caring, patient, and reliable. Provide support and supervision. Assist with daily living skills and community participation. Ensure safety, well-being, and dignity of all individuals served. Maintain and complete required documentation by end of your shift. Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff, supervisors, and the participant's family. Read, Understand, and Implement written and oral instructions, Demonstrate competence and knowledge on topics required to safely support the participant as described in the participant's person-centered service plan.
