The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, patient care, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they assist. This role requires a commitment to patient monitoring, observation, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Help with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Administer first aid as needed and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Work effectively with individuals in their home , and provide specialized care as required with daily documentation. Support hospice care clients by offering comfort and assistance during their time of need. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to create a comprehensive care plan. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or home health is preferred. Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring to recognize changes in health status. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client mobility support. Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus. Experience working with the elderly population is beneficial. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to follow instructions accurately while being attentive to detail.
