This role offers the opportunity to provide essential support to individuals while contributing to a respectful and person-centered environment. We are looking for reliable and motivated candidates who are committed to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of others. Paid training provided Weekly compensation Day & Night shift schedule available Fluent in ASL (preferred) Key Responsibilities Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing Support meal preparation and maintain a clean and organized living space Implement individualized care plans and maintain accurate documentation Monitor and report changes in health status or behavior Encourage and facilitate participation in social and community activities Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical job duties Successful completion of background screening Basic computer proficiency Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in direct support or caregiving Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Current CPR and First Aid certification About the Organization Alexander Milne Developmental Services is committed to promoting dignity, independence, and inclusion for the individuals we serve.
