If you're a certified caregiver looking for flexible scheduling, consistent hours, local clients, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you. We are building schedules now and can often get qualified caregivers working quickly. Pay & Benefits $19-$21 per hour Overtime opportunities available Flexible schedules based on your availability Short shifts (2-4 hours) with multiple clients available Local assignments close to home Consistent weekly hours available Supportive office team Ongoing training and professional development Job Responsibilities As a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA), you will provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance remaining independent in their own homes.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting clients with personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed Performing light housekeeping and homemaking duties Monitoring client safety and well-being Following individualized care plans Documenting services provided Traveling between client homes during scheduled shifts
Qualifications Required:
Active Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification OR Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between clients Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable attendance and professional attitude Current TB test or chest x-ray
Preferred:
Previous experience as a caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), companion, or direct care worker Experience working with seniors, elderly clients, or individuals with disabilities Why Work for Abernathy Home Care?
