Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Home Health Aide and become a vital part of providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes and community settings. In this role, you will support clients with daily activities, monitor their health status, and assist with medical and personal needs to promote independence and well-being. Your energetic and caring approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, ensuring they receive respectful, high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and safety measures Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to ensure safe patient handling Document all patient interactions and medical information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for clients Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to patient care and documentation Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and medical instructions Strong communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and compliance with HIPAA standards Join us in delivering compassionate home health services that empower individuals to live healthier, happier lives. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
