Direct Support Professional (DSP)•
Youth Services Location:
Northampton, MA Job Description We are seeking several compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Northampton. Staff will provide support and supervision to youth ages 6-18 in a residential and/or community-based setting. Candidates must be comfortable working with children and adolescents of all ages, backgrounds, and genders and be flexible in meeting the needs of the program. Responsibilities Provide direct care, supervision, and support to youth ages 6-18. Assist with daily activities, skill development, and recreational programming. Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Follow program policies, behavioral support plans, and safety protocols. Transport youth as needed using agency vehicles or personal vehicle (if required). Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and families when appropriate. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Available Schedules We are currently hiring for the following shifts:
Wednesday:
12:00 PM•10:00
PM Thursday:
2:30 PM•10:30
PM Friday:
2:30 PM•10:30
PM Saturday:
8:30 AM•10:30 PM Required Qualifications Must be EEC (Department of Early Education and Care) cleared. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to complete and successfully pass a 3-day restraint training program. Experience working with youth is preferred but not required. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
