Job Description
Job Summary Kays Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide non-medical personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes and community settings throughout Bowie, Maryland and surrounding areas. The PCA will assist clients with activities of daily living while promoting safety, dignity, comfort, and independence in accordance with individualized care plans. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers as appropriate Support clients with feeding and meal preparation according to the care plan Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support Assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care (laundry, cleaning care areas) Observe, document, and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the supervisor or nurse Follow individualized care plans, agency policies, and c Minimum Qualifications (Required) Current CPR certification Ability to work in Bowie, MD and surrounding areas Ability to pass a criminal background check Reliable transportation Ability to communicate effectively in English Physically able to perform PCA duties (lifting, standing, assisting with mobility) Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired) Prior experience as a PCA, CNA, HHA, or caregiver Experience working with elderly, disabled, or medically fragile clients First Aid certification Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and attention to safety and dignity How to Apply Interested candidates may apply through Indeed or submit their resume for consideration.
