Job Description
Direct Support Professional Summary:
Renoxx Caregivers, Inc. is seeking a prospective Direct Support Professional to provide support services to our clients. Please reply to this email if you are interested in discussing the job opening.Hours:
Monday -Friday Weekends Direct Support Professional Responsibilities:
- Experienced working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Transport and accompany individuals to the community for different activities
- Be able to work with individuals at Renoxx Caregiver's Center or in-home service
- Follow goals outlined in Person Centered Plan/Plan of Care for the individual you support
- Build relationships with clients to make them feel comfortable
- Provide personalized support to enhance clients' independence, social skills, and quality of life.
- Deliver person-centered care while adhering to safety protocols, medication administration procedures, and behavior support plans.
- Implemented behavioral management plans in alignment with Mandt principles and ensured a safe, supportive environment.
- Accurately document client progress, incident reports, and daily logs.
- Completing all required documentation
Direct Support Professional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid car insurance
- Valid driving records
- Ability to transport client with their vehicle
- Possess a valid CPR/First aid certificate
- Possess CMT where necessary
- Minimum of High School Degree/ GED
- Proof of work authorization
- Good communication skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Trustworthiness and dependability so clients and their families feel comfortable
- Interpersonal skills when working with clients, and being sensitive to their emotional needs when they are in distress
