Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide, where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients receiving home-based health services. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals across a variety of settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your expertise will help promote independence and improve quality of life in the comfort of their homes. This paid position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while making a positive impact every day. Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; document findings accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with home healthcare regulations and HIPAA privacy standards Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care strategies and behavioral support Assist with catheter care, wound care, and hospice/end-of-life support to ensure patient comfort and safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely and effectively during patient transfers Requirements Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare environments with a focus on geriatrics or long-term care Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and basic life support (CPR) certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving approaches Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or similar devices Strong understanding of home & community care standards, home health regulations, and patient privacy laws such as HIPAA Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred for travel between client homes Join us to provide compassionate, professional care that enhances lives.
