Overview Gozma Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Live-In Home Health Aide to provide non-medical personal care and daily living assistance to 4 clients in the home. The Home Health Aide will assist clients in maintaining their independence, dignity, safety, and overall well-being while residing in the client's home during scheduled workdays. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in the facility, promoting independence, safety, and comfort. Whether supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment that encourages well-being and dignity. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality home healthcare services while working within a supportive and professional team. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Work Schedule:
Five (5) days per week with two (2) consecutive days off each week. The Home Health Aide will reside in the home during scheduled workdays and will be provided with private living accommodations. Monitor and observe patients' health status, accurately recording vital signs and changes in condition Administer medications following prescribed schedules and medical instructions, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and end-of-life support Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information securely and efficiently Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and basic life support when necessary Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility assistance Follow home healthcare regulations and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and ensure quality care Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress and any concerns Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification Experience providing memory care or working within hospice or end-of-life settings is advantageous Knowledge of home & community care practices, including working with diverse populations such as seniors or individuals with disabilities Proven ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely while maintaining patient dignity Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems or Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation purposes Join us in delivering compassionate home healthcare that truly transforms lives!
