Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper sanitation practices Support residents during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, medication administration, and progress notes in compliance with privacy standards Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Requirements Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or other cognitive impairments Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing health changes Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility needs Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality Valid certifications in CPR and first aid; additional certifications in nursing or social work are advantageous Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and residents CMT (Certified Medication Tech) recommended Join us in providing high-quality support that enhances lives every day!
