The Role As a PCA, you are the heartbeat of our service. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes to provide dignity, safety, and companionship.Your day-to-day might include:
Personal Care:
Assisting with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs) like dressing, bathing, and grooming.Home Support:
Preparing healthy meals, light housekeeping, and keeping the home environment safe.Independence:
Helping with mobility (using assistive devices) and providing transportation for errands or appointments.Connection:
Providing vital companionship and engaging in social activities or memory care support for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.Health Advocacy:
Monitoring vitals and keeping clear, simple records of the client's well-being.What We're Looking For Heart First:
A genuine desire to help others and a reliable, patient personality.Experience:
Previous caregiving experience (Home Care, Assisted Living, or Nursing Homes) is a plus, but we will train the right people.Skills:
Knowledge of memory care, Hoyer lifts, or medication assistance is a bonus!Requirements:
