As a Home Health Care Social Worker, you'll work with homebound clients and their families to help them navigate life's challenges and get the most out of their medical care. Under general supervision, you'll implement creative treatment programs that support clients in overcoming personal and environmental obstacles—turning obstacles into opportunities for positive change!

EDUCATION REQUIRED
Master's degree in social work required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of social work experience in a health care setting.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Knowledge of the principles of human behavior, individual and group counseling techniques and relevant statutes and regulations. Requires very high levels of social sensitivity, personal emotional adjustment and verbal skills in order to provide counseling, assist, and influence others. Requires a professional level of analytical skills in order to solve problems, analyze, and develop policies and procedures.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED
Requires Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Social Worker (LMSW). Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
