• Overview
• We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes.

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or requiring long-term care. Your commitment to providing personalized assistance will help our clients maintain their independence and dignity.

• Duties
• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote overall health.
• Launder clothing and linens as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs as required.
• Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, including those with memory care requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in long-term care settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as medication administration and catheter care.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
