- Overview
- We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes.
- Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote overall health.
- Launder clothing and linens as needed to maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs as required.
- Implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients, including those with memory care requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as medication administration and catheter care.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates.
